The Murco brand was established in 1960 and since then it has grown to become a familiar forecourt name throughout the UK. Now, after more than 60 years, the brand’s recognition has grown hugely with consumers and from strength to strength with dealers despite fundamental changes in the UK forecourt market.
In 2014, the Murco retail business was sold by Murco Petroleum to the fast growing, independent forecourt operator Motor Fuel Group (MFG) – www.motorfuelgroup.com – the number one independent fuel retailer in the UK.
